Tired? Drink Water!

12 Surprising Things That Are Making Your Tired // Woman drinking water (© Biggie Productions/Getty Images)

I just read this article, 12 Surprising Things That Are Making You Tired. Mild dehydration is the #7 reason that I may be tired. I don't know about you, but I do not drink enough. I am one of those people who hate water by itself. I just can't drink water just to be drinking it. I have to have something to eat or be thirsty. According to the article, by the time you are thirsty, you have already lost body fluid.

There are so many reasons why a person can be tired. I would say the best way to figure out which one is your primary is to start making some adjustments 1x1.

I am on day 4 of my 30 day blog challenge. I am getting them in.

Till Next Time......

  1. It's amazing how much of an impact water can have on the body and brain. I suffer from bipolar disorder, and my doctor recently informed me that the simplest thing I can do to help myself feel better is to drink enough water every day. I honestly hadn't considered this before recently, but it makes a lot of sense. Great post!

  2. I know I don't drink enough water, either! I have been trying to drink more, though, and one thing that has helped is to refill my glass each time I empty it and leave it out on the counter so the water is not so cold when I drink it.

Still, I don't do that nearly often enough. Thanks for the nudge!

  3. A while ago I had a terrible headache and I still had to go and teach in the evening. I find that paracetamol don't work, so was at a loss. Then somebody suggested something as simple as drinking a glass of water. I couldn't believe it, but it worked!

  4. Thank you all for commenting. @Angelika, my husband swears by drinking water when he gets a headache, and while I will try to increase my water intake, I need pain meds.
