Prioritize

Life is hard. Often times, it doesn't seem as if it will get any easier. I write this post just to share the words in which I tell myself. There isn't anything as precious in this world as time. When you are not focused enough, time slips away.

Get focused! Get goals! Stay Prioritized!!

Till next time..........subsribe and check back often

Found the light switch

I tell you, there is nothing more exciting than to be happy with your life. Don't get me wrong, everything isn't where I want it to be but I am happy with where I am currently in my life. Years of being unhappy, unsure, undecided....what a dark time. The thing is, once your eyes get adjusted to a dark room, it no longer seems like its really dark after all. Thing is, the lights are out whether you can see the space you are in or not. Well, the lights are on in my life and it is a bright light. There is no chance that I would bump into anything. All decisions/moves are made fully aware of my surroundings/consequences.

One of the goals of the Social Butterfly Group is to help other women find that light switch.

Until next time......

Getting it Together

There is no other task that is harder than GETTING IT TOGETHER.

Too little time
I wish it was all mine

Too little help
Can you hear me YELP

Too much stress
Enough to make one depressed

Too much on my plate
Thrown in the water for shark bait

There is no other task as hard as GETTING IT TOGETHER

Hope you enjoyed.

Feed Me Nutrition and Knowledge

A famous proverb reads, "Train a child in the way he should grow, for when he is old, he will not depart from it."

I love that proverb. My parents brought me up fairly well and a lot of what I was taught, I utilize in my everyday life. My hope for my youth is very much the same. I, as much as I can, like to relate how what I am telling them will help them once they are grown.

I also grew up with the saying, "Do as I say and not as I do." I still love this one. I understand the new philosophy. Your children are watching you. Yea, but even though they are watching me, they are still choosing to do what they want to do. Classic example: Scenario 1. My children see me not working and maintaining a clean house. Scenario 2. They are older. I am working, and I am not maintaining as I used to. I am not doing anything because I work and go to school full-time. With both of these scenarios, the children are watching. Now, when they are told to do their chores or help around the house and they don't, who or what are they emmulating.

Bottom line, do like me and just make sure they are fed nutritious meals most of the time and understand the importance of them and give them as much knowledge as you have all while encouraging them and yourself to seek out more.

I hope you liked my post today. As usual, Live Positive <> Stay Positive

Maybe There Was A Mass Mutation Of Our Genes

Let's face it, we have all thought, at some point, within the last 24 hours that kids these days are "crazy, stupid, ignorant, immature, something is missing, inconsiderate,....." And the list can go on for days. But what could have happened. Yes, our parents and their parents had complaints about our generation, BUT..... I am just saying. Something started in the late 80s, and went and got worse in the 90s (thats when a couple of mine were born, and gosh darnit, you can forget about the ones that were born in the early 2000s (I mean they are still very young right now, but they are watching the ones from the 80s and 90s). Well, anyway, my theory is that there had to have been a mutation of the genes. We kinda stoped making them the way we used to. On top of this mass mutation of genes, we stopped raising them the way we were raised.

Bottom line, something needs to change in the way we are raising our youth. The best way is to start with our own, then when your childs friends don't have the right guidance, step in. We gotta start somewhere.

The Social Butterfly Group

Q: What is the Social Butterfly Group?
A: A company that was formed by a woman with a purpose. Her purpose in life is to help others move from one level of their lives to the next level.

Q: Well, how is this woman going to do that?
A: Just by sharing information. Knowledge is POWER. Here's where you come in. You, your family, and friends will join my fan page Social Butterfly Group (that is where I share most all my business) and subscribe to this blog.

Q: OK, so I told everyone I know. What's in it for me?
A: You will have access to tools that will give you wisdom beyond your imagination. The best way to get ahead is to know what is ahead of you. It will always be up to you what you do with the information that you are given. But after following Social Butterfly, you will never be able to say, "dang, I wish I knew that before!" Remember, this is not only about you, but about all those around you.

Anyone who follows Social Butterfly will benefit. Becoming aware of whats available to you is a positive change. Positive Change is an infectious disease, once it spreads, it has nothing but positive adverse effects on everyone infected.

Q: Is there any other way I can support Social Butterfly?
A: Well of course, there will be plenty of ways to support in the future. But right now, you can visit Free Spirit Accessories and email your order for handmade accessories; and you can book your future travel itineraries at http://www.sbgtravel.worldventures.com/.
